After a lacklustre first quarter that only saw three points on the board, the defenses continued to dominate. The offense finally caught up late in the second half and powered the Eagles to a tight victory. Darksiders, the action adventure game from Vigil Games and THQ, has done well enough for a sequel to be greenlit. Darksiders 2 is in development and will be released in 2012. The announcement of a sequel is also seen as a sign that Darksiders is making the jump from single game to franchise, with thoughts of a third game already being discussed. THQ’s VP of core games, Danny Bilson elaborated on the company’s plans for the franchise....

The last trailer we saw for Sonic Generations took both Sonics to that famous first level of the Sonic series, the Green Hill Zone from Sonic 1. This new trailer decides to follow that thought process, showing both Sonics going through what looks like the first city level from Sonic Adventure 2. It’s certainly interesting to see the role reversal the Sonics take, with the old-school Sonic going through a completely new level for him, while the new Sonic brings back memories of Adventure 2....

We were invited to a closed-door preview, at E3 2011, of the upcoming game, simply titled SSX (formerly SSX: Deadly Descents) and walked away pleasantly surprised - even nominating the game for one of the coveted “Best Sports Game” spots in Game Rant’s E3 2011 Awards. Battlefield 4 persists to be the game many fans gravitate to when compared to the rest of the action-packed guns-blazing Battlefield franchise. The weapons and multiplayer are mostly balanced, vehicles are more enjoyable to operate, plus it has some of the best destructive maps around allowing for scenes to look straight out of an action movie.
