Mass Effect: Legendary Edition has been available for some time now, having launched in May this past year. That makes it a prime choice for EA Play, having been available for well over six months. EA Play doesn’t get new games like Xbox Game Pass might, but rather collects older games that will make more in new subscriptions than they will in sales. With the excitement surrounding Mass Effect 4, Mass Effect: Legendary Edition on EA Play makes a lot of sense....

Speaking at the UBS Annual Media and Communications Conference in New York, CFO Eric Brown said: With such a highly anticipated title on their hands, it is very surprising to hear EA more or less undercut their projections. Obviously not wanting to fail under the feet of the World of Warcraft juggernaut, the publisher thought it better to keep their sales projections reasonable and instead hope the game does all the talking for them....

As announced by EA Sports, EA Sports UFC 4 will launch on August 14 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In a recent post on their website, EA has made it absolutely clear that it will not tolerate players who have perpetuated EA Gate through acquiring the rare FIFA 21 cards “nefariously,” saying that accounts found to have done so will be banned permanently. EA has made it known that it does not condone this behavior, calling it “unacceptable” and adding that this illicit practice runs counter to the integrity of the game as well as being a violation of the end user license agreement....

Two weeks later, Lightbox Interactive released official gameplay footage and images for Starhawk - and fans finally got a peek at the upcoming franchise follow-up. As announced by Head of Xbox Phil Spencer during the inaugural E3 2015 PC Gaming Show, Killer Instinct is coming to PC later this year. A release window wasn’t announced, but expect it to be available on PC at some point after the launch of Windows 10 on July 29th. E3 officially revealed information about the convention’s return Monday morning, announcing its collaboration with PAX manager ReedPop to help with the in-person event. E3 2023 will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 13 to June 16. The event will reportedly feature separate days for businesses and consumers with E3 reserving the first days of the convention for businesses. The change is reportedly to make it “easier for businesses to connect” with other attendees and conducting interviews with potential employees....

As posted by Reddit users on the FIFA page, the code contains names of the incoming Legends like Diego Maradona and Pele along with brief descriptions of their careers and the records they set. In case you didn’t know… The “Legends” offering in FIFA 17 is exclusive to the Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms. EA put up a press release on its website showing the numbers for the year’s first fiscal quarter, which ended in June. The total revenue for this period was $1.46 billion, with a profit of $365 million. The vast majority of this revenue ($1.1 billion) came from EA’s microtransactions. It’s unfortunate that players will have to pick and choose which retailer they pre-order Dead Space 3 from in order to get one item over the other, though thankfully it shouldn’t be that difficult of a choice. Audiences may not immediately think of horror when Star Wars is the subject of conversation, but take a step back and it becomes abundantly clear how well it could work. Although the movies depict the scenarios as exciting and of high fantasy, being attacked by a Rancor or sucked into a Sarlaac pit would be quite terrifying. EA still has some swaying power when it comes to Star Wars video games, and with a brand new Dead Space on the way, what better way to capitalize on the hype than combine its survival horror gameplay with the worlds and monsters of Star Wars....
