Now, EA has announced the newest set of in-game rewards that EA Play subscribers can redeem for the month of October in addition to the “Ready Up” Epic Outfit that subscribers could already redeem for EA’s dodgeball multiplayer shooter Knockout City. There is a little something for nearly everyone in October, with EA paying special attention to its biggest sports titles like Madden NFL 22, FIFA 22, and NHL 22, as well as giving a little something to Apex Legends players as well.

EA Play Rewards in Apex Legends and Madden NFL 22

EA Play perks for Apex Legends have historically been neat gun charms that players can equip to any of Apex Legends’ weapons, and October is no different. Previously players have been able to redeem an N7 insignia from Mass Effect or helmets from Star Wars, but the newest charm is taken from EA’s upcoming shooter Battlefield 2042. Named the Ranger Weapon Charm, it is available until November 1 and is an adorably small plastic version of the robot dog companion that captured the hearts of players and fans in Battlefield 2042’s reveal trailer. To unlock the charm, players simply have to log into Apex Legends before November 1 and go to their loadout page to add the charm to their inventory permanently. Afterward, the charm will most likely not be made available again.

Players of Madden NFL 22 should make sure to grab the Ultimate Kickoff Pack for their Madden NFL 22 Ultimate Team before it goes away on October 14, but October 15 also brings two new packs for them to claim as well. The new pack is called the Most Feared Pack and is available from October 15 to November 18. EA has not specified exactly what will be included in the pack as of yet, but it will assumedly have some Halloween-themed content judging by when it is being released. The free packs are a great way to help introduce Madden players to its Ultimate Team mode, and there is even a Welcome Pack that is also available for EA Play subscribers to help them get started with some players and training points for Madden NFL 22 Ultimate Team.

EA Play Rewards in FIFA 22

EA Play subscribers can also claim a number of different packs to help them along as well. The first item that FIFA 22 players can claim is an XP Boost for the game’s first season of FIFA Ultimate Team. The XP Boost is available from now until November 12 and should help the players that grab it start earning their level 30 rewards much faster this season as players try to get some of FIFA 22’s highest-rated players for their Ultimate Teams.

The other two perks that FIFA players can claim are more cosmetic in nature, just in case players were getting a bit bored with the stadiums and kits already featured in FIFA 22. The first pack is available until November 12 gives players two pieces of branded Adidas Firebird Apparel as well as 4,500 Volta coins to help players customize their street players however they want. The second pack is the FIFA Ultimate Team Storm Stadium Set. This pack is available until October 31 and includes a member-exclusive Epic Storm Kit, Crest, Stadium Theme, and Tifo.

EA Play Rewards in NHL 22

Hockey fans also have the release of EA’s NHL 22 coming on October 15 to look forward to. However, EA Play fans can jump into the game early as part of their subscription on October 7 for up to 10 hours while players who pre-order a deluxe edition of the game can jump in on October 12. EA Play subscribers who do so will get the opportunity to complete exclusive Ultimate Team challenges from October 7 to October 15. These challenges will also allow players to unlock exclusive character items, sets, and packs all before other players get their hands on the title.

NHL 22 players can also claim the EA Play Halloween Set from the early access date of October 7 to October 31. This pack gives players a World of Chel EA Play Bag, which includes a full Halloween-themed vanity set that includes a pair of skates, stick, and gloves for players to deck out their players with. What these items will exactly look like remains to be seen, but it is definitely a fun addition to the game for EA Play subscribers to enjoy after the game’s release. For hockey fans who have not checked out EA’s series, NHL 21 is available on both EA Play and Xbox Game Pass for any players who want to check it out before the newest entry releases.

It is great to see EA Play continuing to offer extra perks and bonuses for subscribers on top of the large library of games that they get access to. It will be interesting to see what EA Play perks come to Battlefield 2042 for subscribers as well as EA’s various other titles. Hopefully, the program will continue to expand for fans of the studio, which seems likely as long as EA continues to support it as well as it has been.
